Projects
A project is one app: its source, settings, variables, domains and every deployment it has had.
Projects and deployments
A project is the app you manage. A deployment is one build of it. Each push, redeploy or upload creates a new deployment, while the project keeps its name, address, settings, variables, domains and database connections.
Create a project
- 1Open Hosting → Projects and choose New project.
- 2Pick a GitHub repository, or choose Rimbra Drop to upload a folder, ZIP or static site.
- 3Set the project name. It decides your rimbra.app address.
- 4Choose Deploy. You land on the project while the first build runs.
Inside a project
| Tab | Use it to |
|---|---|
| Overview | See the live deployment, its address, status and recent activity |
| Deployments | Browse every build, open its log, redeploy or cancel |
| Logs | Read build output and what your app prints while it runs |
| Analytics | Check visits and traffic |
| Observability | Watch requests, errors and response times |
| Variables | Add environment variables and secrets |
| Domains | Connect your own domain or one bought on Rimbra |
| Connect | Attach a database so its URL becomes a variable |
| Settings | Change commands, root directory, port and deploy options |
Archive or delete
Archiving hides a project from your list and keeps its history. Deleting removes the project and its deployment history. Databases you connected are not deleted with it.
