Buy a domain
Search, buy and point a domain at your project, with DNS and HTTPS set up for you.
Find a name
Names that are already registered show Taken. Premium names and names that can’t be registered here show Unavailable.
- 1Open Hosting → Domains and choose Buy domain.
- 2Type a name, with or without an ending, like yourcompany or yourcompany.com.
- 3Results show whether each name is available and its price per year, with the renewal price.
Buy it
- 1Choose Buy on an available name.
- 2Enter the owner’s contact details. Registries require them, and they are attached to the domain.
- 3Choose add-ons such as WHOIS privacy, which hides those details from public lookups.
- 4Review the total and confirm. The domain is registered right away.
After you buy
- Rimbra manages the domain’s DNS. It points at Rimbra within a few minutes, with nothing for you to set.
- Connect it to a project from the domain’s page or the project’s Domains tab. HTTPS is issued automatically.
- The domain page shows the renewal date.
- You can also add it as an email sending domain in Emails → Domains.
