Data, queries and backups
Look at your data, run queries and keep restore points without another tool.
Browse and edit data
The Data tab lists your tables. Open one to page through rows, add a row, edit values or delete rows. For Redis it lists keys with their type and value.
Run queries
Query runs one SQL statement at a time against PostgreSQL or MySQL and shows the result as a table. Writes work too, so be careful on production data. For Redis, the console runs commands such as GET, SET and KEYS. Commands that could wipe or reconfigure the server are blocked.
Back up and restore
- 1Open Backups and choose Back up now. PostgreSQL and MySQL take a full dump; Redis saves a snapshot.
- 2To restore, choose Restore on a backup and confirm.
- 3Rimbra takes a safety backup of the current data first, so a restore can be undone.
Use your own tools
Your apps on Rimbra reach the database directly through the connected variables. To use a desktop client like TablePlus or DBeaver from your computer, use the Data and Query tabs for now. Public connections from outside Rimbra are not open by default.
