Land in the inbox
What decides whether your mail reaches the inbox, and how to keep it there.
The basics
- Verify your domain and add every record, including the return path and DMARC.
- Send from an address people recognise, like hello@ or receipts@ your own domain.
- Send both html and text versions.
- Only email people who signed up or bought something.
If emails fail
- 1Open the failed message in the email log and read the reason.
- 2If the from address is rejected, check its domain shows Verified in Domains.
- 3If you get 422 for a test key, create a Live key.
- 4If the reason is a missing mailbox, remove that address from your list.
If emails land in spam
- Check every record on the domain page shows Found, not just DKIM.
- Warm up a new domain by sending small volumes first, then grow.
- Avoid subject lines in all capitals and messages that are a single image.
