Connect a domain you already own
Point a domain from Namecheap, GoDaddy, Cloudflare or any registrar at a Rimbra project.
Add it to the project
- 1Open the project and choose Domains.
- 2Enter the hostname, like yourcompany.com or app.yourcompany.com, and choose Add.
- 3The domain page shows the one record to add, with a copy button.
Add the record at your registrar
Remove any other A, AAAA or CNAME records on the same name, or visitors may land somewhere else.

Wait for it to go live
The domain page checks DNS every 20 seconds. Once the record is found, Rimbra issues a free HTTPS certificate and the site answers on your domain. This usually takes a few minutes, sometimes up to an hour while DNS spreads.
Move it between projects
On the domain page, pick another project and choose Move domain. It always serves that project’s latest live deployment, so redeploys never need a DNS change.
