Talk to users where they already are
For a lot of people, WhatsApp is where messages actually get read. Order updates, appointment reminders and sign-in codes land next to their conversations with friends, not in a folder they never open.
Rimbra uses the numbers you already have. Link one the same way you link WhatsApp Web, and send from it in the dashboard or through the API.
Link a number
- 01
Open Social notifications → WhatsApp and choose Activate WhatsApp. Your API key is created for you.
- 02
Open Numbers and choose Link a number.
- 03
On your phone, open WhatsApp → Settings → Linked devices and scan the QR code. Or type the 8-character code instead.
- 04
The number shows Connected and stays linked.
Many numbers, one workspace
Link a number for support and another for alerts. Rename them so you know which is which, see how many messages each sent today, and choose which one sends each message. Your allowance is shared across all of them.
Keep your numbers healthy
Write numbers with the country code, or let Rimbra add the code of the number you send from. Contacts who reply STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE are opted out on their own, and messages to them are refused.
Message people who expect it. WhatsApp can restrict numbers that get reported. Keep messages useful and wanted.
Questions
Do I need a WhatsApp Business API account?
No. You link a number you already use, the same way you link WhatsApp on a computer.
How many messages can I send?
Your plan includes a monthly allowance of social notifications: 3,000 on Free, 10,000 on Launch, 25,000 on Pro and 100,000 on Scale. You can use it at any pace; there is no daily limit.
What if the phone logs the number out?
The number shows as disconnected and a number.disconnected webhook is sent. Link it again from Numbers.
